Guarda Wine Fest 2026 once again brought together the leading names in national viticulture at Alameda de Santo André. In the privileged ecosystem of Beira Interior, Souvall affirmed its commitment to High-Altitude Wines, sustainability, and gastronomic excellence.
One of the event’s most memorable moments took place during the session « Wine Conversations: Summer Days Call for Fresh Wines », led by the prestigious winemaker Tiago Macena. In the spotlight was the Souvall Parcela Villamayor Grande Reserva White 2023, a harmonious blend of Síria, Fernão Pires, and Viosinho cultivated at an altitude of 700 meters in granitic soils. During the tasting, the winemaker highlighted the project’s singular approach to honoring young vines, the ample texture on the palate enhanced by bâtonnage, and the aromatic richness that bridges the freshness of Beira Interior with its proximity to the Douro.
In parallel, our Brand Manager, Nuno Gomes, shared in an interview with Beira Alta TV the vision and legacy guiding the Ferraz family: the constant pursuit of distinctive wines with mountain character, enriched by the recent Organic Certification and international recognition with Grand Gold awards.
Watch the highlights of this presence celebrating the soul of Vale Flor and the vibrancy of our High-Altitude Wines.
