LA Ferraz Shines at BTL 2024 with Tastings and Outstanding Wines
LA Ferraz had the pleasure of participating in the Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa (BTL) 2024, the largest tourism event in Portugal. From February 28th to March 3rd, we were at the stand of the Beiras and Serra da Estrela Intermunicipal Community (CIM BSE), in collaboration with the Municipality of Mêda, showcasing and tasting our wines, a product of the winemaking tradition of Beira Interior.
The CIM BSE stand, which included the 15 municipalities of the region, was a stage for unique experiences, offering visitors a journey through Beiras and Serra da Estrela, highlighting its landscapes, gastronomy, and, of course, wines. The event “Viaja Pela Tua Serra da Estrela” aimed to strengthen the potential of this region as a tourist destination, showcasing its natural and cultural riches.
Our tastings of Souvall and Alvinho wines, at the heart of BTL, were an opportunity to demonstrate the excellence of Beira Interior wines, produced on granite soils with a unique microclimate that imparts character and freshness to the wines. This event also emphasized our connection to the territory, promoting wines as an essential part of the identity of Serra da Estrela, which enchants visitors all year round.
During the five days of the event, BTL was an essential meeting point for tourism and wine tourism, where we connected with industry professionals and the general public, sharing our passion for wines and Beira Interior. The presence of LA Ferraz in collaboration with CIM BSE reinforces our commitment to promoting our region and its excellent endogenous products.
