On July 5th, 2025, Vale Flor (Mêda) hosted the “Há Beira e Douro” event, a celebration of the wine identity and union of two exceptional regions: Beira Interior and Douro Superior.
In partnership with the Municipality of Mêda, LAferraz/Souvall proudly hosted this day dedicated to expertise. The program featured the debate “Beira and Douro, the differences that unite us,” with our winemaker José Ribeiro Brandão, alongside figures such as Jorge Lourenço, Manuel Moreira, and Rodolfo Queirós. The event concluded with an exclusive tour and wine tasting at Adega Souvall, showcasing the high-altitude DNA of Mêda wines.
