At the prestigious Portugal Wine Challenge 2026 (Concurso de Vinhos de Portugal), organized by ViniPortugal, our Souvall wine range was awarded two Silver Medals—a recognition that celebrates the identity, rigor, and passion we dedicate to crafting altitude wines.
The distinctions were awarded to two references that mirror the unique terroir of Vale Flor, Mêda, in the Beira Interior region:
- VALE DOS LADROENS GARRAFEIRA – SOUVALL (Red, 2022): A robust, complex, and age-worthy wine, patiently matured to reveal the ultimate elegance and profound structure that characterizes the great altitude wines of our region.
- SOUVALL SEARA (White, 2023): A reference defined by its crystal-clear freshness, striking minerality, and vibrant acidity—singular qualities that only the altitude wines ecosystem can provide.
These awards, granted by a jury of renowned national and international experts, validate the path forged by producers Lúcia & Américo Ferraz, Lda. It is proof that the Souvall signature and our constant pursuit of the perfect balance between family tradition and innovation continue to yield fruits of excellence.
