We had the pleasure of attending the P&Q Vinhos e Espirituosos Meeting, held on February 17th and 18th, 2024 at the Nini Design Center in Funchal, Madeira. This event brought together some of the best wine and spirits producers, providing a unique opportunity to introduce new wines to the market, while also showcasing well-known portfolios.
In this setting, LA Ferraz publicly debuted two new white wines from our Grandes Reservas range. Parcela Villamayor, sourced from younger vines about 15 years old, and Parcela Seara, from older vines over 80 years old, were presented to the public for the first time. Both wines, from the 2022 harvest, were officially launched to the market the day before the event, but it was at this meeting that they shone for the first time at a wine event.
According to Nuno Gomes, our brand manager, these white wines make an excellent addition to Madeira, thanks to the island’s climatic conditions that enhance the freshness and complexity of these wines. In addition to the new releases, LA Ferraz’s preparation for the launch of our first sparkling wine, set to be released soon, was also highlighted.
This meeting marked an important moment for our brand, allowing us to share our passion and dedication with wine lovers and industry professionals at an event that continues to be a reference point in both regional and national markets.
