Held in the iconic and historic setting of the Alfaiates Castle, the 19th Beira Interior Wine Competition brought together the region’s most prestigious producers in an event that celebrates the identity, rigor, and unique character of our terroir. In a memorable night for LAFerraz, the competition’s jury honored our work with two Gold Medals, reinforcing the premium positioning of our brands, Souvall and Vale dos Ladrões.

Vale dos Ladrões Garrafeira Red 2022: The Mountain Character
Distinguished with a Gold Medal, Vale dos Ladrões Garrafeira Red 2022 stands as a tribute to the authenticity of our region. Born in granitic soils and shaped by challenging altitudes, this red wine aged patiently to reveal an imposing structure, sophisticated tannins, and an aromatic complexity that perfectly mirrors the surroundings of the Beira Interior.
Souvall DOC White 2024: A Debut Crowned in Gold
The greatest surprise and pride of the night was the consecration of Souvall DOC Beira Interior White 2024. This new reference, which will debut in the market very soon, begins its commercial journey with the highest official recognition. It is a wine defined by a vibrant freshness, excellent minerality, and an elegance that promises to captivate the most demanding palates as soon as it becomes available at our partner wine shops.
