Souvall Reserva Branco 2022 and Vale dos Ladrões achieve the highest distinction at the prestigious Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
It is with immense pride and a deep sense of celebration that we share yet another historic milestone in the international expansion of our family estate. In the 2026 edition of the prestigious Korea Wine & Spirits Awards (KWSA), organized by ChosunBiz in Seoul, LAFerraz was doubly honored with the Grand Gold medal — the highest accolade of the competition — awarded to both Souvall Reserva Branco 2022 and Vale dos Ladrões.
In a highly competitive arena that annually gathers the world’s finest producers under the evaluation of a jury composed of Asia’s most influential industry leaders, distributors, and experts, our high-altitude wines captivated the palate of the discerning South Korean market.
The Souvall Reserva Branco 2022, born from rigorous organic farming at 700 meters of altitude in Vale Flor (Mêda), stood out for its vibrant freshness and timeless elegance. Meanwhile, Vale dos Ladrões reaffirmed its grandeur through a structure and complexity that purely mirror the granitic soils and the authentic mountain character of the Beira Interior region.
This double Grand Gold in South Korea does not merely reflect the technical excellence of our winemaking; it validates beyond borders the very purpose that guides us daily: Wine, Love and Family. It is a cultural bridge extending from Beira Interior to the world, consolidating the prestige of premium Portuguese wines in Asia.
Our profound gratitude goes to the KWSA organization and to our partners and friends who, alongside us, elevate the LAFerraz name.
